About me

Shah Mashayekh started his insurance career at the age of 17, filing paperwork and assembling enrollment packets until he was old enough to get his insurance license. He was born in the United States and is the son of two successful immigrants who fled a revolution in their native country. His parents taught him to appreciate his freedoms and the opportunities that this country has provided to him and his family.

He grew up in Orange County, California, playing soccer at Villa Park High School. He graduated from Cal State Los Angeles with a degree in Finance and Economics and then joined Northwestern Mutual's Benefits Division, becoming the youngest Financial Representative in the company. He also earned a Masters in Business Administration from California University of Management and Science.

In 2013, he joined Shorepoint Insurance Services, an Acrisure Agency partner, and led the reorganization of their Employee Benefits division. Today, this is one of the top-performing Employee Benefits divisions within Acrisure. His clients trust him with most finance related decisions impacting the company, often used as a sounding-board.

Shah is married to Alexandra and together they have two children, Charles (age 9) and Victoria (age 6). They live in Tustin, California.
